We attain "First Oil" cheaper & faster.

Several marginal field owners face significant challenges, primarily due to limited funding linked to development plans and Competent Person’s Reports, as well as constraints such as difficult terrain and inadequate crude delivery facilities, among others.

At Prodeffi, we operate a system driven by efficiency and a firm commitment to safety. Across the oil and gas fields where we have been engaged, our approach has consistently delivered cost savings of up to 35% for onshore and 50% for shallow-water assets.

We deploy Early Production Facility units with capacities ranging from 5,000bbl - 20,000bbl within 14 days upon receipt of a firm order.

Beyond the deployment of EPF units, we supply experienced production personnel to support operations and maintenance activities. Each EPF is designed with advanced three-phase handling capability, ensuring the evacuation of commercially viable dry crude and on-site management of produced water in accordance with NUPRC regulations.

Global Reach, Local Expertise

Retrofitting of Crude Oil Tanker

PRODEFFI is pioneering the retrofitting of technically suitable vessels (5,000 MT and above) as a cost-efficient alternative to conventional FPSO/FSO deployment. This approach mitigates the high CAPEX burden and aligns with the production and sustainability requirements of marginal fields.

Empirical data and production analysis indicate that managing a floating production facility becomes operationally and economically unsustainable when average daily output is below 50,000 bpd.

PRODEFFI, in collaboration with its technical partners, is pioneering the conversion of bulk tankers with a minimum capacity of 5,000 MT into mini-FPSO/FSO units capable of supporting in-situ storage of 35,000–300,000 bbl. This innovation delivers significant CAPEX and OPEX savings often amounting to tens of millions of dollars while accelerating the commissioning and start-up of production operations.

FPSO Kwame Krumah MV 21, FPSO PSVM, FPSO Leopold Sedar Senghor and FSO Kome Kribi 1 are a few of the floating conversion success stories within the continent.
